Our Custodial Ministry keeps the church,
the Parish Life Center and the rectory well
maintained and clean. I am sure all of you
appreciate being able to worship in a beautiful church and Life center. This takes
volunteers every week. Our volunteers
prepare and clean up before and after every
special event, like Mardi Gras. Please consider volunteering for this ministry.
Keeping all devotion areas clean, both inside and out. Decorating of Church, Life Center for Holidays, Feasts and Special Occasions.
In charge of developing and putting together the Catholic education curricular for our Youth, Adults RCIA, Bible Study as well as for the Sacraments: Baptism, 1st Eucharist/Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage. Recruiting fellow parishioners as teachers for these classes.
In Eucharistic Adoration, we sit silently in the Real Presence of Jesus offering him our praise and thanks, sharing what is on our heart, and listening to him.

Our Grounds Ministry cuts and trims the
grass to keep our campus looking beautiful
and welcoming. With spring coming up,
there is a great need for help. Also, we
need volunteers to maintain our flower
beds and flower pots. Do you know the
difference between a weed and a flower? Then we need your help.
Keep running inventory of all items and makes list of what is needed that have to be purchased for Mass; e.g., hosts, wine, candles, lighters, incense, etc… and submits to office.
Jane’s Ministry, recruits members of the parish to participate and become a prayer warrior with our Parish Prayer
Line. Assigns members of the prayer line to call and contact the petitioners to check on them and the status of their
prayer request, keeps the pastor updated, and ensures that those who request to have communion brought to home bound parishioner have their needs met.
Inspections of the kitchen to ensure everything is in working order and clean. Submitting list of items (food, disposable items, pantry, cleaning) to be purchased for the kitchen as needed. Keeping a reservation log of requested/scheduled people who wish to use the kitchen for functions. Ensuring the use of kitchen by those scheduled adhere by the kitchen rules and regulations.

This ministry partially falls under the Women’s Guild.
Recruits members of the Parish to participate and become a Prayer Warrior with our Parish Prayer Line. The Leaders are the Main Contact for “Prayer Warrior” prayer line. They take the prayer requests from members of the parish who are sick or homebound and in need of special prayer and begin the prayer line chain. Assigns people in the prayer line to call and contact the petitioner to check on them and the status of their prayer request, send out get well cards, bring meals if needed; e.g., after surgery and keep Prayer Warriors and Pastor updated. Ensure that those who request to have communion brought out to a homebound parishioner gets scheduled.
The Ministry of the Poor falls under the Women’s Guild.
Money Counter Ministry is in charge of counting collection money with at least one other counter and filling out
appropriate deposit slips and deposit the money at the bank on a rotating basis.
Preparing and performing music for all the Masses. Working and holding practices with the choir. Recruiting members to the choir and/or band.
Sacristan Ministry: English Leader– Eugene Fullenkamp Spanish Leader– Raymundo Ramirez
In charge of assignment of Sacristans for Mass, Adoration, Holy Days of Obligation and Special Occasions. Instructing and Training Sacristan’s in their duties. Finding replacements when a Sacristan is unable to perform his/her duty on a specific day if that Sacristan cannot find his/her own replacement.
Sacristan Responsibilities: Setting up the Church and Altar for Mass; including vesting the Chalice, placing hosts in the Ciborium, wine and water in the cruets, placing linen on the credence table and the gifts on the gift table at the Narthex of the church, lighting candles, marking the pages on the Gospel, Missal, Prayers of the Faithful, (and the placement of those books), placing Announcement sheet on the Ambo, ensuring microphones are in working order and that the lights are turned on. Then the disassemble of all and put in proper place at the end of Mass.
Inspects all the vessels used in Mass. Ensures they are cleaned and polished.
Recruits and Trains Ushers and Greeters in their duties. Makes Schedule up and distributes via email to Ushers/Greeters. Finds replacements if an Usher is unable to perform his/her duty on a specific day and that usher cannot find his/her own replacement.
Usher/Greeters Responsibilities: Greeters are responsible for giving a warm and friendly greeting to all who enter, ensuring that there are hymnals/missals in the pews and that the pews are clutter-free and in an orderly manner, assisting handicap as needed, help find seating when needed. By use of the collection baskets, go row to row to collect donations at the proper time, place the donations into a bag, seal and sign it. Ask two or three attendees of Mass to be gift bearers of the wine, ciborium and donations that are to be brought up to the altar. At the close of Mass, hand out the weekly bulletin to all parishioners and visitors.
Women’s Guild: Leader - Dale Sellars
A vibrant auxiliary organization of Catholic women dedicated to upholding the teachings of the Church. Administer to the needs of our parish community with the principles of unity, charity, devotion and faith. Assist in the Ministries of the Poor, Sick, Outreach, Fund Raising and other things as needed or requested to help the church and its members.
